In correspondence with the idea of Web 2.0, the virtual education environments have to involve social software to establish the digital learning workplace. The objective of the paper is to summarize the overview of Web 2.0 inspirations for e-learning 2.0 and e-pedagogy and to present an innovative e-learning information system CouLe (Courses and Lectures). The system was developed to become a piece in the puzzle of e-learning technologies accessed by teachers and learners.
