The GliderAgent implementation integrates two agent environments discussed in chapters 2 and 4 of this book, as well as the XCsoar pilotage software, and the OpenStreetMaps GIS system. In addition to presenting the basic design of the GliderAgent system, the technical issues solved during its implementation are discussed.
