The work has important implications for a diversity of stakeholders and must embody clinical principles if it is to succeed. The issue at hand is how to enable clinicians to validate the reference architecture, which is necessarily a technical document, so that they have confidence that it can meet the clinical requirement for safe communication. A model of communication that has been used to ground the architecture is shown to be useful in creating relevant clinical scenarios to permit the first steps towards coherent validation in a systematic way.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/978-1-60750-912-7-828","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2025,2,21]],"date-time":"2025-02-21T15:26:30Z","timestamp":1740151590000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Constructing Scenarios for validating the Electronic Health Care Record Architecture"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"family":"Kay Stephen","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Marley Tom","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Lundgren Per Arne","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Broberg Helen","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Prytz Hanne","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Studies in Health Technology and Informatics","Medical Informatics Europe '99"],"original-title":[],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2025,2,21]],"date-time":"2025-02-21T16:07:06Z","timestamp":1740154026000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/www.medra.org\/servlet\/aliasResolver?alias=iospressISSNISBN&issn=0926-9630&volume=68&spage=828"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[1999]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/978-1-60750-912-7-828","relation":{},"ISSN":["0926-9630"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0926-9630","type":"print"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[1999]]}}}
