However, codes need to be tuned to deliver good performance on these machines. TrajSearch, developed at the Institute for Combustion Technology at RWTH Aachen University, is a post-processing code for analyzing trajectories in three dimensional turbulent flow fields. The initial OpenMP version of TrajSearch has been tuned to run very efficiently on the vSMP cluster which exhibits a pronounced NUMA behavior.
