The Health Terminology\/Ontology Portal (HeTOP) is a tool dedicated to both human beings and computers to access and browse biomedical terminologies or ontologies (T\/O). The objective of this work was to integrate the HPO into HeTOP in order to enhance both works. This integration is a success and allows users to search and browse the HPO with a dedicated interface. Furthermore, the HPO has been enhanced with the addition of content such as new synonyms, translations, mappings. Integrating T\/O such as the HPO into HeTOP is a benefit to vocabularies because it allows enrichment of them and it is also a benefit for HeTOP which provides a better service to both humans and machines.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/978-1-61499-289-9-961","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2025,2,21]],"date-time":"2025-02-21T18:09:19Z","timestamp":1740161359000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":1,"title":["Integrating the Human Phenotype Ontology into HeTOP Terminology-Ontology Server"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"family":"Grosjean Julien","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Merabti Tayeb","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Soualmia Lina F.","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Letord Catherine","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Charlet Jean","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Robinson Peter N.","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Darmoni Stéfan J.","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Studies in Health Technology and Informatics","MEDINFO 2013"],"original-title":[],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2025,2,21]],"date-time":"2025-02-21T18:32:29Z","timestamp":1740162749000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/www.medra.org\/servlet\/aliasResolver?alias=iospressISSNISBN&issn=0926-9630&volume=192&spage=961"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2013]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/978-1-61499-289-9-961","relation":{},"ISSN":["0926-9630"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0926-9630","type":"print"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2013]]}}}
