They involve technology and data infrastructure, BA capabilities, and business processes that provide useful insights and support decision-making. To provide value and competitive advantage, BA capabilities should be valuable, rare, inimitable and have organisational support (VRIO). In this paper, we develop and evaluate a prototype dashboard for the VRIO assessment of BA capabilities. The dashboard is intended to support the strategic management of BA capabilities.
