In SOA architecture, services look up is performed in UDDI, which could hinge the performance service matching while the number of services increase. Moreover, the service registry must be able to recognize the service description that service providers provide, which also increases the load in the service registry in processing various kinds of service description formats. In original service-oriented architecture, the process of finding appropriate services costs most of the computation resources in the registry, and could overload the UDDI. To deal with this issue, we propose, in this work, an extended SOA architecture to offload the UDDI. The proposed architecture separates the matching tasks from UDDI by shifting the load to service provider.
