With wide reading range and rapid identification speed, it is not necessary for the RFID reader to establish mechanical or optical contact very close to the tag. As a matter of fact, RFID tag is proved to be very potential and useful in many applications and assumed to replace the barcodes completely. In this paper, we give a comparative survey on RFID grouping authentication protocols and compare them in terms of different factors.
