To monitor the received signal strength of IEEE 802.15.4\/ZigBee, the indoor LIS can realize the tag locations of vision robot. The LIS system is composed of one gateway, some location nodes and tags. This methodology is used to identify the location of tags. At first, the LIS is demonstrated then it is applied to develop a LIS vision robot.
