Telehealth applications can help to improve therapy and support behavior change. It was the objective of the present work to construct and evaluate within a trial (25 patients) an automated feedback system for a telehealth application to support behavior change. We used a rule-based approach and constructed 26 rules in 9 categories. Rule design and implementation followed the principles of the Austrian Medical Product Law, resulting in an automated rule-based feedback system. Evaluations show high user satisfaction with 80% of all users perceiving the system as useful.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/978-1-61499-524-1-50","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2025,2,21]],"date-time":"2025-02-21T17:13:02Z","timestamp":1740157982000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":1,"title":["A Personalized Feedback System for Supporting Behavior Change for Patients After an Acute Myocardial Infarction"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"family":"Kreiner Karl","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Welte Stefan","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Modre-Osprian Robert","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Fetz Bettina","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Heidt Andreas","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Kropf Martin","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Ammenwerth Elske","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Pölzl Gerhard","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Kastner Peter","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Studies in Health Technology and Informatics","eHealth2015 – Health Informatics Meets eHealth"],"original-title":[],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2025,2,21]],"date-time":"2025-02-21T18:07:38Z","timestamp":1740161258000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/www.medra.org\/servlet\/aliasResolver?alias=iospressISBN&isbn=978-1-61499-523-4&spage=50&doi=10.3233\/978-1-61499-524-1-50"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2015]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/978-1-61499-524-1-50","relation":{},"ISSN":["0926-9630"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0926-9630","type":"print"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2015]]}}}
