However, it is laborious, time-consuming and costly to establish the needed information systems environment including the infrastructure, platform and software to support smartphone apps, beyond the reach of many companies especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with limited expertise and resource. Our study aims to alleviate this issue by utilizing free Internet services to build smartphone apps.
