The collected data is stored in distributed, stove-piped systems, with loss of important data attributes in preprocessing. Existing information analysis tool suites provide visualization, user interfaces, maps, and link analysis, however the analysis manly occurs in the analyst's head, leveraging his\/her training and experience.
