{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2025,2,22]],"date-time":"2025-02-22T05:23:14Z","timestamp":1740201794035,"version":"3.37.3"},"reference-count":0,"publisher":"IOS Press","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":[],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2018]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>In this paper, an identification approach for the Population (e.g. patients with headache), the Intervention (e.g. aspirin) and the Comparison (e.g. vitamin C) in Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) is proposed. Contrary to previous approaches, the identification is done on a word level, rather than on a sentence level. Additionally, we classify the sentiment of RCTs to determine whether an Intervention is more effective than its Comparison. Two new corpora were created to evaluate both approaches.
