The equipment is used to carry out one of the most important activities related to the branch of grass production, i.e., its pruning. For this kind of operation the equipment was designed by the manufacturers with manual and low precise adjustments for height of cuttings. This is used for pruning of vegetation in the plantations and orchards where there is no due requirements with respect to the standard and height adjustment. However, for grass producers, this process of pruning should be treated with greater care, since it is of extreme importance for the development, formation and final finishing of the lawns. For this specific area (lawns) customers are high quality demanding. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to analyze, develop and design a hydraulic cutting height adjustment system, which does not require the direct manual influence of the operator for its adjustment, thus reducing the total equipment setup process time and improving quality performance.
