Making this data available to physicians to support them in quality improvement and to inform their practice presents a broad range of challenges. Addressing these challenges requires a solution that allows physicians to leverage the data repositories in the Enterprise Data Warehouse to develop and use evidence based clinical measures using an interactive, user-friendly, and secure infrastructure. In this talk, we discuss key aspects of the development of an interactive web-based report for physicians at Island Health, and present the final product. Given the privacy and security issues surrounding this type of data, a mock profile will be presented, rather than true results for actual physicians.Here, we have developed an initial prototype of a physician level report delivered via Microsoft Power BI as a possible dynamic tool to share these important data.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/978-1-61499-951-5-310","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2025,2,21]],"date-time":"2025-02-21T14:45:03Z","timestamp":1740149103000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Electronic Physician Profiles: Developing an Interactive Web-Based Report for Physicians at Island Health"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"family":"McEwen Lisa M.","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"O'Donnell Jay C.","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Lifoawing Laura","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Matias David","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"family":"Wagar Brandon","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Studies in Health Technology and Informatics","Improving Usability, Safety and Patient Outcomes with Health Information Technology"],"original-title":[],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2025,2,21]],"date-time":"2025-02-21T15:40:31Z","timestamp":1740152431000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/www.medra.org\/servlet\/aliasResolver?alias=iospressISBN&isbn=978-1-61499-950-8&spage=310&doi=10.3233\/978-1-61499-951-5-310"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2019]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/978-1-61499-951-5-310","relation":{},"ISSN":["0926-9630"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0926-9630","type":"print"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2019]]}}}
