Through a qualitative data analysis of 91 student voices from four panels, four public hearing testimonies, and 43 newspaper essays published from 2019 to 2024, this article answers how Kanaka \u2018\u014ciwi students in the K\u201312 and higher education sectors k\u016b\u2018\u0113 (resist) in public discourse. Findings reveal that students engage in makawalu (multiple perspectives) discourse to address cultural, economic, educational, and social issues affecting Kanaka \u2018\u014ciwi. They invoke \u2018ike k\u016bpuna (ancestral wisdom) to construct a kahua (foundation) of Kanaka \u2018\u014ciwi knowledge, which includes Hawaiian language, proverbs, stories, and aloha \u2018\u0101ina (love of land). Students strengthen this kahua by sharing \u2018ike kumu (foundational knowledge) and \u2018ike pono\u2018\u012b (personal knowledge).
