Classic methods like \u201cLiving Lab\u201d and \u201cWizard of Oz\u201d are widely used and well established in social robotics research, but they imply explicit limits and raise methodological concerns. The epistemology of TPT\u2019s performances draws on concepts related to Hans-J\u00f6rg Rheinberger\u2019s \u201cepistemic thing\u201d and Michel Serres\u2019 \u201cquasi-object\u201d.
