There are three decision-making environments: decision making under certainty, decision making under uncertainty and decision making under risk. Based on possibility theory and evidence theory, a new indeterminacy decision making approach with the decision-maker\u2019s environmental knowledge information about the state of nature is proposed. This approach provides a general framework for three types of decision problems, that is, deterministic, risky and uncertain problems.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/faia210221","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2021,10,20]],"date-time":"2021-10-20T21:55:16Z","timestamp":1634766916000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["A New Indeterminacy Decision Making Approach Considering Partial Environmental State Knowledge"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"given":"Bo","family":"Feng","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Nanjing University of Science and Technology, 210094, China"},{"name":"Nanjing Audit University Jinshen College, 210023, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Zhipeng","family":"Hui","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Nanjing University of Science and Technology, 210094, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Junwen","family":"Feng","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Nanjing University of Science and Technology, 210094, China"},{"name":"Nanjing Audit University Jinshen College, 210023, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications","Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining VII"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA210221","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2021,10,25]],"date-time":"2021-10-25T13:41:01Z","timestamp":1635169261000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA210221"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2021,10,14]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/faia210221","relation":{},"ISSN":["0922-6389","1879-8314"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0922-6389","type":"print"},{"value":"1879-8314","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2021,10,14]]}}}
