This study employs quantitative indicators to identify the specific types of goods with trade complementarity between China and Norway based on the published data by the United Nations, the World Trade Organization and the National Bureaus of statistics both in China and Norway. The empirical results confirm that some types of commodities are provided with trade complementarity between both sides. Nevertheless, these complementary goods are imposed tariffs on each other. The consequences are linked with aggravating resources shortage in China on the one hand, and limiting consumption in Norway on the other. Therefore, pushing up tariff relief is favor of mutual benefit cooperation and making progress in the negotiation of free trade agreement between China and Norway.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/faia210234","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2021,11,2]],"date-time":"2021-11-02T17:29:26Z","timestamp":1635874166000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Tariff Relief and Promoting Free Trade Agreement Between China and Norway"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"given":"Nianlin","family":"Zhou","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"South China Business College, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Guangzhou, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Jin","family":"Guo","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Management, Guangdong AIB Polytechnic, Guangzhou, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Manyuan","family":"Jiang","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"South China Business College, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Guangzhou, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications","Modern Management based on Big Data II and Machine Learning and Intelligent Systems III"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA210234","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2021,11,2]],"date-time":"2021-11-02T17:29:31Z","timestamp":1635874171000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA210234"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2021,10,29]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/faia210234","relation":{},"ISSN":["0922-6389","1879-8314"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0922-6389","type":"print"},{"value":"1879-8314","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2021,10,29]]}}}
