To do so we performed two experiments. The first focused on identifying judgements related to eviction, while the second focused on identifying the outcome of the cases in the judgements (eviction vs. dismissal of the landlord\u2019s claim). In the process of conducting the experiments for this study, we have created a manually annotated dataset with eviction-related judgements and their outcomes.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/faia210312","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2021,12,7]],"date-time":"2021-12-07T09:47:38Z","timestamp":1638870458000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":3,"title":["Automatically Identifying Eviction Cases and Outcomes Within Case Law of Dutch Courts of First Instance"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"given":"Masha","family":"Medvedeva","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Legal Methods, University of Groningen (UG), The Netherlands"},{"name":"Center for Language and Cognition Groningen, UG, The Netherlands"}]},{"given":"Thijmen","family":"Dam","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Legal Methods, University of Groningen (UG), The Netherlands"},{"name":"Center for Language and Cognition Groningen, UG, The Netherlands"}]},{"given":"Martijn","family":"Wieling","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Center for Language and Cognition Groningen, UG, The Netherlands"}]},{"given":"Michel","family":"Vols","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Legal Methods, University of Groningen (UG), The Netherlands"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications","Legal Knowledge and Information Systems"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA210312","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2021,12,7]],"date-time":"2021-12-07T09:47:39Z","timestamp":1638870459000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA210312"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2021,12,2]]},"ISBN":["9781643682525","9781643682532"],"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/faia210312","relation":{},"ISSN":["0922-6389","1879-8314"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0922-6389","type":"print"},{"value":"1879-8314","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2021,12,2]]}}}
