The study selects beech wood material as the object, and aimed to achieve its softening perceptual experience by changing the visual and tactile perceptual elements. After investigation, the key elements of visual perception (shape and color) and tactile perception (roughness degree and deformation degree) are confirmed as variables to study the relationship with the degree of softening perceptual experience, so as to provide new possibilities for the innovation of material perception experience.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/faia220045","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2022,3,2]],"date-time":"2022-03-02T13:35:57Z","timestamp":1646228157000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Study on Beech Wood Softening Perceptual Experience Based on the Change of Material Perceptual Elements"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"given":"Na","family":"Xiong","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Design Innovation Center, China Academy of Art, Hangzhou, China, 310002"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Haoming","family":"Li","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Design Innovation Center, China Academy of Art, Hangzhou, China, 310002"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Ruoyu","family":"Gu","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"System Planning Lab of Design Department, Chiba University, Chiba, Japan, 263-8522"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications","Design Studies and Intelligence Engineering"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA220045","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2022,3,2]],"date-time":"2022-03-02T13:35:57Z","timestamp":1646228157000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA220045"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2022,2,28]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/faia220045","relation":{},"ISSN":["0922-6389","1879-8314"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0922-6389","type":"print"},{"value":"1879-8314","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2022,2,28]]}}}
