Methods: We employed the use of cross-sectional research and comparative analysis to conduct the case analysis and empirical research on typical platforms and related policies. Results: The results indicate that the construction of the local digital government could be improved considering the resource allocation, construction standards, data development, platform construction and citizen participation. Conclusions and Suggestions: It was observed that the scientific theory of empowering grassroots governance with digitalization can be deeply grasped by optimizing the allocation of digital resources, strengthening the intensive construction of digital government, promoting digital development and sharing, improving the governance of digital government platforms and enhancing the participation of digital citizens.
