However, traditional research in logistics transportation vehicle scheduling has been criticized for its narrow focus, limited consideration of constraints, and often sub-optimal route planning, which hinder its practical applicability. To address these issues, we propose an AI Planning method to simulate logistics transportation vehicle scheduling scenarios. We utilize the PDDL language to construct standard planning tasks, and then employ the state-of-the-art planner to solve these tasks, generating planning solutions which are used as vehicle scheduling schemes. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed method is capable of generating scheduling schemes in a relatively short time, guiding transport vehicles to complete logistics transportation tasks.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/faia231250","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2024,1,12]],"date-time":"2024-01-12T12:57:01Z","timestamp":1705064221000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["A Numerical Planning-Based Method for Logistics Transportation"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"given":"Dongning","family":"Rao","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Computer Science, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou, China"}]},{"given":"Mingtao","family":"Xuan","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Computer Science, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou, China"}]},{"given":"Ruishi","family":"Liang","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Computer Science, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Zhongshan Institute, Zhongshan, China"}]},{"given":"Zhenghui","family":"Xu","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Computer Science, Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou, China"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications","Electronics, Communications and Networks"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA231250","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2024,1,12]],"date-time":"2024-01-12T12:57:02Z","timestamp":1705064222000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA231250"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2024,1,12]]},"ISBN":["9781643684802","9781643684819"],"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/faia231250","relation":{},"ISSN":["0922-6389","1879-8314"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0922-6389","type":"print"},{"value":"1879-8314","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2024,1,12]]}}}
