An implementation plan was determined through repeated experiments and numerous discussions. A built-in joint detector was designed and installed to address the inability of the original equipment to detect built-in joints [2], keeping the original joint detector unchanged [3], thus ensuring the detection of all joints. A filter was installed in the exclusion air path to address the issue of missing exclusion of splicing joint cigarettes during the production process, and improvements were made to the material of the removal block, reducing the failure rate of the excluded part.
