This has very significant consequences for improving health management of chronic diseases, reducing the economic burdens of patients, alleviating serious pressure on health care, and improving the current uneven distribution of medical resources. This paper appeals to DIKW, a well-known framework in the field of information science and knowledge management, to build an intelligent service system model for chronic diseases through theories and methods related to data mining, knowledge organization, artificial intelligence, and knowledge services. This model involves 3 stages: Data Acquisition and Data Processing, Ontology Construction and Semantic Annotation, and Demand Mining and Knowledge Exploitation. These stages realize a shift and transition from data to information, from information to knowledge, and from knowledge to wisdom.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/faia241442","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2024,12,23]],"date-time":"2024-12-23T09:48:58Z","timestamp":1734947338000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["An Intelligent Service System Model for Chronic Diseases from the Perspective of DIKW"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-9832-7508","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Mingliang","family":"Tan","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Management, North Sichuan Medical College, Nanchong 637100, China"}]},{"given":"Qianghua","family":"You","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Management, North Sichuan Medical College, Nanchong 637100, China"}]},{"given":"Jialu","family":"Lyu","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Management, North Sichuan Medical College, Nanchong 637100, China"}]},{"given":"Jie","family":"Li","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Management, North Sichuan Medical College, Nanchong 637100, China"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0009-0004-1982-8059","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Yawen","family":"Deng","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Management, North Sichuan Medical College, Nanchong 637100, China"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications","Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining X"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA241442","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2024,12,23]],"date-time":"2024-12-23T09:48:58Z","timestamp":1734947338000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/FAIA241442"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2024,12,20]]},"ISBN":["9781643685694"],"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/faia241442","relation":{},"ISSN":["0922-6389","1879-8314"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0922-6389","type":"print"},{"value":"1879-8314","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2024,12,20]]}}}
