This paper introduces a neurosymbolic framework leveraging these errors to enhance reliability and interdisciplinary innovation. We propose an ontology-guided verification and human-in-the-loop (HITL) refinement cycle, where LLM-generated insights are checked against and refine an evolving ontology. Discrepancies are flagged, and experts validate and integrate these insights, mitigating biases and fostering emergent concepts. A case study in avionic diagnostics demonstrates potential. Our contributions include a framework for leveraging LLM hallucinations, suggesting pathways towards improved scalability, fostering interdisciplinary insights, and ensuring ethical alignment, contributing to Hybrid Human-AI Intelligence. Future work will focus on implementation and validation.
[[2025,9,23
["Transforming Hallucinations into Discovery: A Neurosymbolic Framework for Human-AI Collaborative Knowledge Evolution
IBM Client Innovation Center Italy, Via San Bovio 3 - Località San Felice – 20054 Segrate (MI), Italy
["Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications","HHAI 2025
[[2025,9,23
[[2025,9,22
9781643686110
["0922-6389","1879-8314
[[2025,9,22]]}}}
