Through game play, it can increase children\u2019s motivation and participation, thus enhancing the efficiency of children\u2019s learning. Multisensory activities engage multiple senses, boost memory retention, and enhance engagement in learning for children. A VR CAVE is a good way to provide an immersive environment for multisensory activities. To provide the flexibility to set up the training activities anywhere, we propose a low-cost portable CAVE with a mobile controller and implement two multisensory learning games in our CAVE to engage dyslexic children in learning Traditional Chinese characters. Our low-cost portable CAVE is easy to disassemble, transport, and reassemble. Besides, the shape of our CAVE can be adjusted based on the application requirements and available space. The two multisensory games, \u201cWriting-in-the-air\u201d and \u201cWhack-a-mole\u201d, in our CAVE demonstrate how effective it is on game-based interactive teaching methods.
