When the on-board equipment is in sleep mode, it does not perform train operation safety monitoring but maintains the monitoring of key data and executes functions such as train positioning, speed measurement and distance measurement, recording level conversion and RBC (Radio Block Centre) handover information. Based on the train position, direction, and non-leading-end train direction signal, this article proposes an improved method for calculating the level conversion position and RBC handover position. This method can shorten the operation time after cab change and improve operational efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and comply with the fail-safe principle.
