China\u2019s export of mechanical and electrical products to RCEP member countries has been increasing year by year, and the RCEP region has great market potential for China\u2019s mechanical and electrical products. This paper overviews the concept of trade facilitation including trade facilitation evaluation index system, measurement of trade facilitation, basic structure of trade facilitation system, etc. This paper also elaborates the concept of mechanical and electrical products, for example the classification and categorization of mechanical and electrical products and the status quo of the trade of them with RCEP countries and the rest of the world. By comparing trade facilitation scores of major RCEP countries and trade volumes of China\u2019s export of mechanical and electrical products to RCEP member countries over the last a couple of years the paper tries to find the possible co-relation between trade facilitation and the export of mechanical and electrical products.
