In this paper, we first introduce some operations on interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets, such as Einstein sum, Einstein product, Einstein exponentiation, etc., and further develop the induced interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted geometric (I-IVIFEOWG) operator. We also establish some desirable properties of this operator, such as commutativity, idempotency and monotonicity. Then, we apply the induced interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein hybrid geometric (I-IVIFEHG) operator to deal with multiple attribute decision making under interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environments. Finally, an illustrative example for software quality evaluation is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/ifs-130960","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2019,12,2]],"date-time":"2019-12-02T18:36:31Z","timestamp":1575311791000},"page":"2945-2954","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1177\/sage-journals-update-policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":23,"title":["Induced interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted geometric operator and their application to multiple attribute decision making"],"prefix":"10.1177","volume":"26","author":[{"given":"Yang-rui","family":"Yang","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Information Engineering, North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power, Zhengzhou, Henan, China"}]},{"given":"Sheng","family":"Yuan","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"College of Information Engineering, North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power, Zhengzhou, Henan, China"}]}],"member":"179","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2014,1]]},"container-title":["Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems"],"original-title":[],"language":"en","link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/pdf\/10.3233\/IFS-130960","content-type":"application\/pdf","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"text-mining"},{"URL":"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/pdf\/10.3233\/IFS-130960","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2026,2,11]],"date-time":"2026-02-11T12:47:41Z","timestamp":1770814061000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/10.3233\/IFS-130960"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2014,1]]},"references-count":0,"journal-issue":{"issue":"6","published-print":{"date-parts":[[2014,6]]}},"alternative-id":["10.3233\/IFS-130960"],"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/ifs-130960","relation":{},"ISSN":["1064-1246","1875-8967"],"issn-type":[{"value":"1064-1246","type":"print"},{"value":"1875-8967","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2014,1]]}}}
