An array of citation measures has been developed, including citation counts for the individual scholar. Yet, over 50 activities that contribute to reputation building can be identified across five areas of scholarly activity: research, integration, application, teaching, and co-creation. In the past ten years new platforms have merged that foster and measure an array of practices.
