In this paper, single particle shear crushing test of three kinds of manufactured sand aggregates of granite, limestone and diabase were taken as the research object. The energy consumption in single particle shear crushing was measured and the fractal theory was introduced to analyze the mass distribution of crushed particles. With the help of crushing specific energy consumption, a fractal prediction model of crushing energy consumption was established, and R-R model was used to correct the model. Finally, this paper verified the effectiveness of the corrected model by a series of tests that compare actual measured values, predictive values from the uncorrected model and predictive values from the corrected model.
