With the rapid development of the furniture industry, the application of high-end technology is the inevitable way to meet the needs of the vast majority of consumers. Therefore, this paper based on the PSO algorithm, the properties of the modified wood were grasped as a whole and then used the virtual reality technology, and applied the design of modified wood to the furniture field which could ensure the safety of users at the same time and also take into account the aesthetic needs of the user.
