This results in higher total harmonic distortion (THD) due to interference in other electrical equipments.<\/jats:p>\n                  <jats:p>The problems related to poor power factor are mitigated by Power factor correction (PFC) techniques. A comparative study based on type of frequency, current amplifier IC\u2019s used etc. This paper explains the development of fuzzy logic-based PFC operating in continuous conduction mode.
