Smart containers (SC), which are the latest in this evolution of containers and one of the key elements of logistic in Supply Chain Management System (SCMS), stand out with their flexibility, traceability, and contribution to the optimization of the supply chain. In this paper the existing properties of the currently evolving smart containers are compiled and the users\u2019 needs that will guide future designs are determined. In the application section, three different smart containers are evaluated according to seven different conflicting criteria in neutrosophic environment. By using neutrosophic TOPSIS method relative closeness coefficient of alternatives are calculated. Finally alternatives are ranked in descending order.
