To meet the needs in the new era, China has continuously been introducing new measures to develop smart manufacturing, and remarkable results have been achieved for the development of smart manufacturing. This paper first summarizes the diffusion model for applying intelligent manufacturing in manufacturing enterprises in Hangzhou. Secondly, the improved SIR model and Matlab software are used to analyze the impact of industrial policy accuracy on the proliferation of intelligent manufacturing applications. Finally based on the simulation results, it is found that the policies play an important role in the diffusion of intelligent manufacturing applications. The good top-down design of the government is the prerequisite for the sound promotion of intelligent manufacturing technology application, but the accuracy of policies needs to be further strengthened to better promote the proliferation of smart manufacturing applications.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/jifs-179842","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2020,5,22]],"date-time":"2020-05-22T11:29:18Z","timestamp":1590146958000},"page":"7725-7732","update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1177\/sage-journals-update-policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":2,"title":["The diffusion of intelligent manufacturing applications based SIR model"],"prefix":"10.1177","volume":"38","author":[{"given":"Lei","family":"Wang","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Management, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Hangzhou, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Mengwei","family":"Wu","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Management, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Hangzhou, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Xueqi","family":"Xu","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Management, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Hangzhou, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Wenqi","family":"Fan","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Admissions Office, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Hangzhou, China"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"179","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2020,5,22]]},"reference":[{"key":"e_1_3_2_2_2","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.2307\/256344"},{"key":"e_1_3_2_3_2","unstructured":"HallB.H.
