Also, to overcome the limitations, Kumar and Garg proposed a connection number (CN) based method for solving intuitionistic fuzzy MADM problems. In this paper, it is shown that the ranking method, used in Step 5 of Kumar and Garg’s method for comparing connection numbers (CNs), fails to compare two distinct CNs. Hence, Kumar and Garg’s method fails to rank the alternatives of intuitionistic fuzzy MADM problems. Furthermore, to overcome the limitation of Kumar and Garg’s method, a new ranking method (named as Mehar ranking method) is proposed for comparing CNs.
                  </jats:p>
[[2018,10,9
["Mehar ranking method for comparing connection numbers and its application in decision making
School of Mathematics, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (Deemed to be University), Patiala, Punjab, India
School of Mathematics, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (Deemed to be University), Patiala, Punjab, India
Department of Supply Chain Management, University of Manitoba, 630 Drake Centre - 181 Freedman Crescent, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
[[2018,10,6
W.Chang Jian, Application of the set pair analysis theory in multiple attribute decision-making, J Mech Strength 029 (2007), 1009–1012.
J.Q.Wang and L.Gong, Interval probability stochastic multi-criteria decision-making approach based on set pair analysis, Control and Decision 24 (2009), 1877–1880.
Z.Xie, F.Zhang, J.Cheng and L.Li, Fuzzy multi-attribute decision making methods based on improved set pair analysis, In: Sixth International Symposium on Computational Intelligence and Design 2, 2013, pp. 386–389
The 2-rank consensus reaching model in the multi-granular linguistic multiple-attribute group decision making
Zhang H.
2017
H.Zhang, Y.Dong and X.Chen, The 2-rank consensus reaching model in the multi-granular linguistic multiple-attribute group decision making, IEEE Trans Syst Man Cybern: Syst (2017). 101109/TSMC20172694429.
K.Zhao, Set pair and set pair analysis-a new concept and systematic analysis method, Proceedings of the National Conference on System Theory and Regional Planning, 1989, pp. 87–91.
Proceedings of the National Conference on System Theory and Regional Planning
Journal of Intelligent &
