In this paper, a new integrated controller is proposed for the active suspension system of heavy vehicles. To verify the proposed control strategy, a half-car model is constructed first, together with the design of wheelbase preview algorithm and the wavelet noise filter in order to enhance the performance of the proposed controller. First, the road input information from the front suspension is collected as preview information to the rear suspension. Then, with given preview information and the feedback signal of vehicle state, an integrated fuzzy-PID controller is designed to generate the active force of rear suspension so as to attenuate the suspension vibration. Besides, the proposed control strategy also includes a wavelet noise filter to suppress the sensor noise.
