We define two types of containment in\n                    <jats:italic>GIVIFSS<\/jats:italic>\n                    . With this new perspective, the\n                    <jats:italic>g<\/jats:italic>\n                    -union,\n                    <jats:italic>g<\/jats:italic>\n                    -intersection,\n                    <jats:italic>g<\/jats:italic>\n                    <jats:sup>\u2217<\/jats:sup>\n                    -union,\n                    <jats:italic>g<\/jats:italic>\n                    <jats:sup>\u2217<\/jats:sup>\n                    -intersection, OR, AND, g-necessity and g-possibility operations are defined for\n                    <jats:italic>GIVIFSSs<\/jats:italic>\n                    . The properties and relations between operations of\n                    <jats:italic>GIVIFSSs<\/jats:italic>\n                    are investigated. An algorithm is proposed for solving MADM problems using\n                    <jats:italic>GIVIFSS<\/jats:italic>\n                    . A descriptive example is presented to see the applicability of the proposed method.
