The Dutch National Intensive Care Evaluation (NICE) quality registry adopted the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership Common Database Model (OMOP CDM) to achieve a FAIR database. In the process of adopting the OMOP CDM, many modeling, technical, and communication challenges needed to be solved. Through communication with the OMOP CDM implementation community, previously done research and trial-and-error we found solutions that we believe can help other healthcare institutions, especially ICU quality registries, FAIRify their databases.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/shti220476","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2022,5,25]],"date-time":"2022-05-25T12:14:10Z","timestamp":1653480850000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":4,"title":["FAIRifying a Quality Registry Using OMOP CDM: Challenges and Solutions"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"given":"Daniel","family":"Puttmann","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"The National Intensive Care Evaluation (NICE) registry, The Netherlands"},{"name":"Department of Medical Informatics, Amsterdam Public Health Research Institute, Amsterdam UMC, University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands"}]},{"given":"Nicolette","family":"De Keizer","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"The National Intensive Care Evaluation (NICE) registry, The Netherlands"},{"name":"Department of Medical Informatics, Amsterdam Public Health Research Institute, Amsterdam UMC, University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands"}]},{"given":"Ronald","family":"Cornet","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Medical Informatics, Amsterdam Public Health Research Institute, Amsterdam UMC, University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands"}]},{"given":"Eric","family":"Van Der Zwan","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"The National Intensive Care Evaluation (NICE) registry, The Netherlands"},{"name":"Department of Medical Informatics, Amsterdam Public Health Research Institute, Amsterdam UMC, University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands"}]},{"given":"Ferishta","family":"Bakhshi-Raiez","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"The National Intensive Care Evaluation (NICE) registry, The Netherlands"},{"name":"Department of Medical Informatics, Amsterdam Public Health Research Institute, Amsterdam UMC, University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Studies in Health Technology and Informatics","Challenges of Trustable AI and Added-Value on Health"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI220476","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2022,5,25]],"date-time":"2022-05-25T12:14:11Z","timestamp":1653480851000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI220476"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2022,5,25]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/shti220476","relation":{},"ISSN":["0926-9630","1879-8365"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0926-9630","type":"print"},{"value":"1879-8365","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2022,5,25]]}}}
