We created software called CDS-Compare to alleviate the burden on expert reviewers in rapidly and effectively curating large databases of order sets. We applied our clustering-based software to a database of NLP-processed order sets extracted from VA\u2019s Electronic Health Record, then had subject-matter experts review the web application version of our software for clustering validity.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/shti220502","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2022,5,25]],"date-time":"2022-05-25T12:14:50Z","timestamp":1653480890000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["CDS-Compare: A Web Application for Machine Learning Assisted Curation of Clinical Order Sets"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"given":"Zackary","family":"Falls","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Biomedical Informatics, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, USA"}]},{"given":"Steven H.","family":"Brown","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Health Informatics, USA"},{"name":"Department of Biomedical Informatics, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, USA"}]},{"given":"Naveed","family":"Shah","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Biomedical Informatics, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, USA"}]},{"given":"Frank","family":"LeHouillier","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Biomedical Informatics, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, USA"}]},{"given":"Randeep","family":"Badwal","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Biomedical Informatics, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, USA"}]},{"given":"Kendria","family":"Hall","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Biomedical Informatics, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, USA"}]},{"given":"Gillian","family":"Franklin","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Biomedical Informatics, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, USA"}]},{"given":"William H.","family":"Kelly","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Biomedical Informatics, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, USA"}]},{"given":"Andrew","family":"Holdaway","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Health Informatics, USA"}]},{"given":"Diane","family":"Montella","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Health Informatics, USA"}]},{"given":"Linda","family":"Wedemeyer","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Health Informatics, USA"}]},{"given":"Sarita","family":"Keni","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Health Informatics, USA"}]},{"given":"Eric","family":"Rose","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Health Informatics, USA"},{"name":"Department of Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education, University of Washington, USA"}]},{"given":"Jonathan R.","family":"Nebeker","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Health Informatics, USA"},{"name":"Department of Medicine, University of Utah, USA"}]},{"given":"Peter L.","family":"Elkin","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Biomedical Informatics, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo, USA"},{"name":"Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Health Informatics, USA"},{"name":"Department of Veterans Affairs, WNY VA, Bioinformatics Laboratory, USA"},{"name":"Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark, Denmark"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Studies in Health Technology and Informatics","Challenges of Trustable AI and Added-Value on Health"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI220502","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2022,5,25]],"date-time":"2022-05-25T12:14:51Z","timestamp":1653480891000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI220502"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2022,5,25]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/shti220502","relation":{},"ISSN":["0926-9630","1879-8365"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0926-9630","type":"print"},{"value":"1879-8365","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2022,5,25]]}}}
