This paper proposes a model for evaluating a health digital service, that of, the Personal Health Insurance Record (PHIR), delivered by the Greek Organization for the Health Care Provision. The proposed model is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), enhanced with two additional factors: a) user satisfaction and b) safety-privacy. The analysis of the results highlighted that the intention to use is significantly affected by perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, user satisfaction and safety-privacy. Parameters such as age and familiarity with the use of e-services also seem to determine the intention to use.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/shti220782","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2022,6,30]],"date-time":"2022-06-30T07:39:02Z","timestamp":1656574742000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":8,"title":["Using an Extended Technology Acceptance Model to Evaluate Digital Health Services"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"given":"Diana","family":"Akritidi","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Faculty of Nursing, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens Greece"},{"name":"Department of Digital Systems, School of Information and Communication Technologies, University of Piraeus, Piraeus Greece"}]},{"given":"Parisis","family":"Gallos","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Faculty of Nursing, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens Greece"},{"name":"Department of Digital Systems, School of Information and Communication Technologies, University of Piraeus, Piraeus Greece"}]},{"given":"Vassiliki","family":"Koufi","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Digital Systems, School of Information and Communication Technologies, University of Piraeus, Piraeus Greece"}]},{"given":"Flora","family":"Malamateniou","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Faculty of Nursing, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens Greece"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Studies in Health Technology and Informatics","Advances in Informatics, Management and Technology in Healthcare"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI220782","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2022,6,30]],"date-time":"2022-06-30T07:39:03Z","timestamp":1656574743000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI220782"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2022,6,29]]},"ISBN":["9781643682907","9781643682914"],"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/shti220782","relation":{},"ISSN":["0926-9630","1879-8365"],"issn-type":[{"type":"print","value":"0926-9630"},{"type":"electronic","value":"1879-8365"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2022,6,29]]}}}
