Standardization across an integrated organization is increasingly recognized as a social justice concern in the pursuit of equitable and timely healthcare delivery, particularly as the healthcare industry grapples with a severe nursing shortage in the United States. A master project plan methodology (MPPM) was tested to effectively develop an electronic Age-Friendly 4Ms documentation tool using the system development lifecycle (SDLC) framework. The MPPM successfully guided the design and national implementation, achieving an 84% installation rate across 124 facilities within one of America\u2019s largest integrated healthcare systems.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/shti240246","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2024,7,24]],"date-time":"2024-07-24T11:31:18Z","timestamp":1721820678000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Applying a Master Project Plan Methodology to Develop an Age-Friendly 4Ms Clinical Documentation Tool"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0001-5857-6465","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Constance S.","family":"Berner","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA"},{"name":"VA Office of Nursing Informatics, Office of Health Informatics, Washington DC, USA"}]},{"given":"Sheila","family":"Ochylski","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"VA Office of Nursing Informatics, Office of Health Informatics, Washington DC, USA"}]},{"given":"Toni","family":"Phillips","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"VA Office of Nursing Informatics, Office of Health Informatics, Washington DC, USA"}]},{"given":"Mary","family":"Martin","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Studies in Health Technology and Informatics","Innovation in Applied Nursing Informatics"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI240246","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2024,7,24]],"date-time":"2024-07-24T11:31:19Z","timestamp":1721820679000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI240246"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2024,7,24]]},"ISBN":["9781643685274"],"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/shti240246","relation":{},"ISSN":["0926-9630","1879-8365"],"issn-type":[{"type":"print","value":"0926-9630"},{"type":"electronic","value":"1879-8365"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2024,7,24]]}}}
