Results showed positive trust in AI, low resistance and job insecurity concerns, and a high willingness to adopt AI, indicating a favorable view of AI as a supportive tool rather than a replacement. Key adoption factors were identified as regulatory standards, accuracy, workflow integration, and result clarity, providing valuable insights for future AI development in medicine.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/shti240470","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2024,8,23]],"date-time":"2024-08-23T09:32:30Z","timestamp":1724405550000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":1,"title":["Initial Investigations into Physician Acceptance of Medical AI: Examining Trust, Resistance, Perceived Job Insecurity, and Usage Intentions"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"given":"Chia-Jung","family":"Chen","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Information Systems, Chi Mei Medical Center, Taiwan"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Chung-Feng","family":"Liu","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Medical Research, Chi Mei Medical Center, Taiwan"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Studies in Health Technology and Informatics","Digital Health and Informatics Innovations for Sustainable Health Care Systems"],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/pdf\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI240470","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2024,8,23]],"date-time":"2024-08-23T09:32:30Z","timestamp":1724405550000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/ebooks.iospress.nl\/doi\/10.3233\/SHTI240470"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2024,8,22]]},"ISBN":["9781643685335"],"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/shti240470","relation":{},"ISSN":["0926-9630","1879-8365"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0926-9630","type":"print"},{"value":"1879-8365","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2024,8,22]]}}}
