However, effectively modeling events within these systems presents significant challenges due to the complexity and dynamic nature of medical data. Especially the differentiation between events and processes as well as the nature of events is often unclear. This paper explores approaches to modeling events in biomedical decision support systems, considering factors such as ontology-based representation.
