While LOINC standardizes identifiers for laboratory results, inconsistencies within hospitals can still occur. This study analyzed data from six hospitals in western France (Rennes, Nantes, Brest, Tours, Angers, and ICO), revealing significant heterogeneity: 910 distinct LOINC codes were found, with only 51 shared across all centers. Focusing on creatinine measurements for renal function monitoring, phenotypic differences were observed. ICO patients displayed distinct patterns due to their specific health conditions, while the largest centers (Tours, Rennes, and Nantes) showed consistent creatinine values. Smaller centers, Brest and Angers, exhibited similar patient profiles.
