Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD), such as delusions, aggression, and wandering, pose significant challenges for caregivers and patients, often exacerbated by interpersonal difficulties and anxiety. To mitigate these challenges, an intervention study utilizing IoT sensors and Artificial Intelligence (AI) was conducted to predict and prevent BPSD. The study achieved a 70% reduction in BPSD onset and a 28.1% decrease in caregiver burden.
