Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment play a crucial role in reducing mortality. Artificial intelligence techniques can be used to support clinical approaches to lung cancer, helping healthcare professionals make informed decisions and personalize treatments. The work reported in this paper uses machine learning techniques to predict the survival time of patients diagnosed with lung cancer. Our solution was able to predict a classification of long or short survival time with 84.6% accuracy.
