Data from patients with the highest 0.01% to 5% of daily call usage were analyzed. The calls from each patient were divided into 48 intervals of 30 minutes, analyzed using a Fast Fourier Transform to denoise, and grouped into six clusters using Ward\u2019s method. In addition, the number of calls, age, and ward for each cluster were analyzed. The six 24-hour usage patterns had two major features: one with higher activity during the daytime and the other with a bimodal pattern, with peaks in the morning and evening.
