This study aimed to explore barriers to the adoption of the SFD from the patients\u2019 perspective. Whilst interviews are ongoing, we found that key barriers included limited consumer awareness, limited health literacy and limited digital literacy. We also found that consumer perceptions of timeliness and their level of digital literacy impacted their preference for an SFD channel.
